Ingersoll Rand

Overview

Ingersoll Rand is a massive company that not only builds industrial tools for the likes of NASCAR but also own the likes of Trane, Club Car, and Thermo King. Their new site needed to show their fast history and their size in the industry as well as coming of as modern. A massive desktop parallaxing timeline, animated interactive boxes, and expanding content keeps the user engaged.

Parallax Timeline

The parallax timeline starts at the future and lets the user select a year a year to shift to a new year with details about the company. A “bug” allows the user to select a section of the year to learn more about what happened for the company during that year.

Company Methodology Tabs

Hovering over a tab displays a black and white logo, when selected the color turns to color and displays details about that brand and how it can help the users.

Image Tabs

Image tabs displays a title with a relevant image. Selecting a box displays details about the topic. From the the user can minimize the box or switch to a new box without having to close the current box.

Expanding Page Content

Similar to the image tabs landing pages have sets of boxes that display a title and relevant image. Selecting a box slides down and displays details with a link to more information.
