Overview
Oliver Wyman Vector specializes in the aviation, aerospace, defense, and rail sectors. I’m part of the Digital Services and Products team. Our primary focus is designing and build web applications used to assist clients in tracking electrical system, warranty information/repairs, cyber security, and more.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain application design standards as well as facilitate the design of new applications and features.
- Primary UI developer across all applications. Set, maintain, and document UI standards.
- Lead sprint planning meetings
- Technologies used: HTML5, CSS3, Angular, Typescript, Javascript, Material, Adobe XD
Given the nature of the work performed I’m not able to provide screen shots or details for individual applications. However, all applications are unified under a single authentication system allowing the user to access any application they are assigned to based on the user permissions established by a secured authentication system. Applications follow the same flow and fleet to ensure cohesion across all view. I work to maintain cohesion by writing documentation and code samples.
I also maintain a shared services to provide a single place for share components, services, images, etc.
Ensuring all applications are up to date, tested, and have a uniform look/feel across legacy and new features is a challenged I’ve maintained for nearly a decade.
